What to do when everyone in my family hates you because you're book smart

While it's not a bad thing to be book smart (Sommy Increase certainly doesn't give ALL her advice from experience), there's much to be learned from life outside of books as well. Appreciate your family for their knowledge, spend more time with them doing activities that don't involve books, and they are likely to to accept you and your love of books as well. If they don't accept you despite your best efforts, spend time with your friends who love books, and eventually create for yourself a family of book-lovers.
