The first self-driving car has hit the roads of South East
England, but it doesn’t look anything like an ordinary car. This futuristic
autonomous vehicle looks more like a two-seat pod.
It’s fully electric, and it can’t go faster than 15 mph. During
its first trip in Milton Keynes, it drove 5 mph and stopped for pedestrians
using camera sensors.
This time next year, residents could expect to see 40 of these
traveling pods on the roads.
