Young Nigerian Cries out Over the State of Biafra. Carefully read his note

Biafra (officially the Republic of Biafra) was an unrecognized country in West Africa from 1967 to 1970, made up of the states in the Eastern Region of Nigeria. Its attempt to leave Nigeria resulted in the Nigerian Civil War.
Today a new struggle for Biafran independence is being championed by a mass movement, the Indegenous People of Biafra (IPOB) led by Nnamdi Kanu and his London-based supporters from where they run Radio Biafra and Biafra Television. The movement has grown so rapidly that it has a following at home and abroad made up of Biafrans in diaspora in nearly every country in the world. International human rights organisations like the Amnesty International and the Human Rights Watch have corroborated IPOB and its sister organisations, among which are Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB)'s accusations of extrajudicial killings by the Nigerian Army and the police of their members, in their reports.

In recent times there have been severe brutality carried out on the Biafran agitators in the South East of Nigeria by the Nigerian Military. Many were tortured, killed, wounded, and properties were lost too. A young Nigerian again have joined the chorus in raising an alarm letting the world know what Biafra is all about, why they want Biafra, and what might happen if they don't get it.

Long Live Biafra.

Some People haven't told themselves the truth about Biafra, go study them and stop being ridiculous. Biafra is not a selfish or terrorist organisation as many said. It is a sovereign state wanting its independence, is that too much? They were refused independence, they called for referendum, they still couldn't get it. Why are the higher authority hiding from referendum?

Nigerians can't just think and it's annoying. I enjoy one Nigeria, but everyone mustn't be in my shoes. I still love Biafra because am a Biafran by birth, origin, everything. They are even mature enough to protest without shooting a bullet, if it was Nigeria protesting won't they cause havoc everywhere? The Nigerian Government should just calm down and accept the truth for what it is. We want a democratic state where equality and equity is practised.

If you look into the way the Nigerian state is going now, democracy is about to be scraped away. Military rule is about to come back. Nigeria is a secular state but Islam is about to be forced into the Nation's constitution. Beware if Islam takes over, there'll be no regard for your religion, Sharia law will take over, and you have been stripped of choice on which religious ethics to abide by. These people saw and are agitating to leave before this havoc comes.

Do you think those that have lost their lives because of the pursuit are stupid? They are not. They were just murdered, they attacked no one and the military attacked them. If you had lost someone in this pursuit of doing the right thing, will you just allow the mess to continue? Of course no. Referendum is the best answer to this. You can argue if you want to, but the truth remains the truth.
