When I started using biro in my primary school, and anytime
I made a mistake,
I would try hard to erase it. Sometimes I use chalk, but it
later reappears.
So I began to use saliva, it worked only to leave holes in
my book.my teachers
Then use to beat me for being outrageously dirty. But all I
tried to do was cover my errors.
One day, a kind hearted teacher who love me so much called
me aside.
‘’Bobo,
anytime you make a mistake, just cross it and move on. Trying to erase it would
Only damage your book’’. But I don’t want people to see my
mistake and laugh at me, I protested.
Trying to erase it will make more people know about your
mess, and the stigma is for life’’
Have
you made a mistake, cross it and move on. That is, take your mistake to the
cross of
Calvary, at the feet of Jesus Christ, leave it there and move on.
Don’t try to create more irredeemable errors by trying within your power to
erase it. He promised us that no matter how dirty we are, or how sinful we are he is ever ready to forgive us of our iniquities. “Come now, let us reason together,” says the LORD. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool. – Isaiah 1:18, because his mercies endureth forever(Ps. 118).
So let's get back to Jesus Christ with our whole heart and he'll give you total redemption and peace. If you are willing to get back to him, say this short prayer with all your heart,
"God Almighty, i come to you with all my heart
Please Lord come into my life and make me whole
I admit nailing you to the cross the second time
Father remember with your constant mercies
which do not last for a season but for a lifetime
cast me not away from thy presence and take not the holy spirit from me
Restore unto me the joy of salvation and renew the right spirit within me
Lord Jesus make me an instrument of peace
Thank you Lord for answering my prayers in Jesus' name. Amen".
If you made this short prayer, and have believed it with all your heart, welcome to the big family of God.You are now a child of God and all your transgressions have been taken away, 2 Cor. 5:17 which says, "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."
The renewed man acts upon new principles, by new rules, with new ends, and in new company. The believer is created anew; his heart is not merely set right, but a new heart is given him. He is the workmanship of God, created in Christ Jesus unto good works. Though the same as a man, he is changed in his character and conduct. These words must and do mean more than an outward reformation. The man who formerly saw no beauty in the Saviour that he should desire him, now loves him above all things. The heart of the unregenerate is filled with enmity against God, and God is justly offended with him. Yet there may be reconciliation. Our offended God has reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ. By the inspiration of God, the Scriptures were written, which are the word of reconciliation; showing that peace has been made by the cross, and how we may be interested therein. Though God cannot lose by the quarrel, nor gain by the peace, yet he beseeches sinners to lay aside their enmity, and accept the salvation he offers. Christ knew no sin. He was made Sin; not a sinner, but Sin, a Sin-offering, a Sacrifice for sin. The end and design of all this was, that we might be made the righteousness of God in him, might be justified freely by the grace of God through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus. Can any lose, labour, or suffer too much for Him, who gave his beloved Son to be the Sacrifice for their sins, that they might be made the righteousness of God in him?
