God's mercy is everlasting, he never gets exhausted showing his love towards us. That was why he said that his mercy does not last for a season but for a lifetime "forever". Not minding our weaknesses, our loving father cares so much about us and only when we admit we are guilty is when we get access to the store room of mercy.
Have you heard this story when the pharisees and scribes caught a woman in the the act of adultery, they brought her to Jesus because they've already condemned her. When they came to Jesus, they said, "Preacher, in the law of Moses it was stated that anyone caught in the act of adultery should be stoned to death, so what do you say?" In this case these men has already condemned her and as such justifying themselves to be righteous.
Jesus looked at them, then bent down and wrote something on the ground, looked up and asked "if any of you is without sin, let him cast the first stone. He squatted and wrote something again on the floor and before he could rise each one of them from the first to the least left, he asked the woman "where are they?" she replied ''they are gone''. Jesus said ''neither do I condemn you, go and sin no more''. Even at our weakest moments our heavenly intercessor never gets tired of interceding on our behalf, its just left for us to admit our sins and give our word never to go back to our old ways. Remember its only dogs that go back to their vomit, so receiving mercy and going back to your old lifestyle is like a dog going back to her vomit and this shows no sign of responsibility. Knowing that everyone that goes back to his old ways is already qualified for the verdict which says that the reward to sin is death.
But always bear in mind that the father never condemns us, just admit with a sincere spirit he'll bring you back, wash and rinse you again, there are times we have to keep every other person aside and be left alone with Jesus alone. So i urge you to accept him today as your lord and saviour, he's at the door of your heart ever ready to come in anytime you open your heart to him. Take this bold step today and you'll never regret it, give him your word today and have solemn peace and joy in him. Make a decision never t go back today by making this short prayer saying "oh lord Jesus, i admit i have wronged you in many ways and now i believe you died for my sake. Father just as the prodigal son i am coming back today with all my heart seeking you accept me as one of your own, i promise to do all you say. Thank you lord for granting me access into the commonwealth of your kingdom, in Jesus' name. Amen.
Since you have made this prayer, welcome to the family of God and believe me no more condemnation is against you because old things are passed away and all things have become new.
