The Nigerian National Team, Super Eagles Posing for a PhotoGraph before their WCQ match against Zambia
Celebrations in Nigeria as the Super Eagles Qualify for Russia 2018 World Cup. It was a fierce battle between The Super Eagles and The Chipolopolo (The Copper Bullets) of Zambia, but it came to a halt after 90 + 3mins of play having the Nigerian side declared the winner.
Alex Iwobi’s 73rd minute strike, means that Nigeria became the first African country to qualify for the 2018 World Cup.
The former Vice-President of Nigeria Atiku Abubakar also hailed The Super Eagles in a tweet immediately after the game, “They say Russia is cold. We are still coming! Haha! Congratulations to the Super Eagles and all Nigerians!”
