MY TESTIMONIES OF GREAT AVIATION ESCAPES - Bishop (Dr.) David Oyedepo

ALL HELL BROKE LOOSE LANDING IN LAGOS POSING IMPOSSIBLE

Sometime in 1997 on our way back from Kaduna into Lagos, landing in Lagos became a tug of war. The Captain made several attempts, but every attempt proved abortive under heavy thunderstorms. The aircraft will go up and come down, he made another attempt, it will go up and come down again. The plane eventually landed. Again, Jesus prevailed, granted us a great escape.
Bishop David Oyedepo

ONE ENGINE OF OUR AIRCRAFT FAILED IN FLIGHT

On May 4, 1998 we were on a flight to Kano in our aircraft when I noticed that the plane was slowing down so I went to the cockpit and asked the pilot what was going on, then he announced that we just lost one engine. Calmly I said make a turn back to Lagos. We were 8 on board that flight as soon as we landed and got down to our packing space we heard a sound that announced the death of the second engine. Again, He granted us a great escape.

WE ESCAPED A POTENTIAL CRASH

The main malfunction we had on the Cyprus-Israel flight was a Stabilizer Trim Motor Failure.
During the said flight, after the trim motor failure, the autopilot could no longer exert the required pressure to keep the aircraft in the required attitude for stable flight. The captain disconnected the autopilot, took and returned the aircraft to the required attitude for that phase of flight. Because the aircraft was “out of trim” during this take over, the aircraft abruptly pitched up with much G-force and the captain counteracted it with a pitch down force. These two counter forces caused the “abrupt turbulent” movement in the cabin and the cargo hold. Heavy items in the cargo hold fell from their compartments and made the loud bang noise we heard.
We thank the God of this commission for making the pilots to react promptly. Similar failures in the past have resulted in fatal accidents that resulted in loss of lives due to lateness of pilots’ reaction. From the report on the flight Captain Samuel Adeboga

NOTE
Remember, Jesus said, ‘destroy this temple and on the third day I will raise it up”, talking of His death and resurrection – Jn 2:19
It written, “After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight” – Hos. 6:2
Remember, Jesus said, “I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, amen; and have the keys of hell and of death” – Rev. 1:18
Therefore, this being the third great escape in the air, it is over forever and no member of this great Commission or member of our spiritual extensions shall ever be a victim of air crash, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen and amen.
Jesus is Lord!

Bishop David O. Oyedepo
