One day i'll never forget is that day i was so depressed, frustrated, filled with fear and shame for the disappointment i just encountered. With all these in my heart i sat alone in a very quiet and deserted place, a young boy of around 7 years of age walked up to me and demanded i give him money for food. Within me i was cooking up excuses to give him because i had already planned my day and my budget is what i planned sticking to for that day. He intelligently turned every of my excuse down, and even gave me more reasons why i should grant his request, wow!! this is amazing. He was looking unhealthy, poor, dirty, but his brilliance is what a boy of his age couldn't have gotten so fast. I not only granted his request, also got to know him the more and the rest is history.

The point here is that we don't know how much we are worth until real situations come up for us to deliver that which is in us. I never knew how much i could give to anybody if that lad didn't come by. In the state i was that day, if he didn't come by maybe i might have committed suicide, or done something nasty because i believed i have nothing to offer, i can't get anything done right, i don't deserve life anymore, but what happened that moment i was at the edge of giving it all up made me understand what it really means to rise from the trash and get back to work. It taught that even knocked down, get back up, raise your head and keep your shoulders high.
